Scorchkit is without a doubt his father's son. An absolute bundle of energy that can never sit still, this tom is an immense troublemaker who can constantly be seen running under unsuspecting warriors' paws, playing (many rather distasteful) pranks on his siblings and warriors alike. He is an unbelievably proud kitten with a big ego, his father being the warrior Shiningwing doing nothing to hinder his cockiness. He will brag to anyone and everyone who will listen, about anything and everything. He is convinced he is the best of his siblings - both full and half - and spends much of his time proving to his father why he and he alone is the best son. Constantly challenging his half siblings in battles for dominance, he often gets into little scuffles and enjoys them - after all, how else will everyone know he is the strongest and the best pouncer and the fastest and the best climber? His father's shadow, he is constantly seen trailing after Shiningwing with head in the air and tail erect in pride, doing his best to mimic his strut, because he wants to grow up to be just like him. His father is perfect, after all. The one trait he has yet to inherit of his father's is his flirtiness - Scorchkit wants nothing to do with she-kits, they are gross and have cooties, obviously.He adores his mother, though, and despite many protests about grooming he secretly enjoys all of her attention, and is of course, convinced, that he has the best mother ever and will start many a fight with his half siblings about this fact. Unfortunately, he can also be unbelievably immature especially with his brother (who he adores but would never admit) about who's best, who dad loves best, and constantly tries to prove himself better.

As an apprentice, Scorchkit's personality has only grown more vivid - he is convinced he and he alone is the best, and all others are just below him. Luckily, though, Burningpaw is there to knock his ego down. He still thinks girls are gross and toms are better than she-cats and is yet to be attracted to any cats. After all, that would get in the way of him becoming the greatest warrior in HighClan's history!



    History: Born to the forbidden lovers Splashleaf, former medicine cat of NightClan and the HighClan warrior Shiningwing. He considers himself entirely HighClan, though has no shame in his NightClan roots and if anyone brings up the fact that he's a Half-Clan kit he will simply boast that it makes him stronger. Early in his kithood his mother adopted the kitten Faintkit, and while he knows that he is inferior, still accepts him as a brother. When greencough ravaged through the Clan, he was one of the many to fall ill, but was treated and was one of the lucky ones to become healthy. During this time he noticed an odd sensation...sensing that cats were lying to him even when they put a false face on.

Upon his sixth moon, Scorchkit was given the name Scorchpaw alongside his siblings, half siblings, and Lilyblaze's kits and given the mentor Antbite instead of the leader, much to his disdain. His 'ability' has continued to grow, and regards it with a bit of disdain - discovering not everyone ACTUALLY sees him as the true superior apprentice there is.

    Eyes: A vibrant, particularly striking shade of amber with brilliant red around the pupil.

    ||Physical Info||

    ooBuild: Scorchpaw has grown to be a handsome young tom with a flattering build - that of a proper young warrior. He is rather strongly built with a sturdy neck and strong legs, but with a slimness about him despite his appearance of strength. He is around average size.

    ooFur type: Soft and spiky - almost always sticking out every which way. The only time it lays flat is directly after grooming - which he rarely has time for, being the warrior protege he is.

    ooSize: Scorchpaw hit a rather alarming growth spurt upon reaching apprentice age - he is now almost average size for a tom his age.

    ooScent:  Snow and mountain air.

    ooBreed: (American Curl x DSH) x (Moggy)

    ooScars/Deformities: None yet, although when he gets his first scar he will be unbelievably proud.
